0342 215 35 03 ŞARTNAME - Specification

a. UC value shall be 255 V A.C. for L-N/L-PE, and response time shall be <100 ns between L-N and <100 ns between N-PE.
b. In 10/350 µsn curve, they shall be capable of discharging a minimum load of 50 kA between Phase-Neutral and a
minimum load of 125 kA between Neutral-Ground.
c. The protection level shall be < 1.3 or 2 kV.
d. They shall operate with Spark-Gap multicarbon + carbon technology.
e. For the provision of operational continuity, the selection of front fuses, which meet the requirements set by manufacturers,
and their connection to the front side of class B surge arresters (in Transformer LV panel) as a “front fuse” shall be performed
in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications to avoid phase-neutral short-circuit failures which might arise from
the puncture of their internal insulation due to aging under normal operating conditions or during discharges.

2. One-Stage (Class C/Type 1/Class 1) Instantaneous Overvoltage Protection Surge Arresters (Building/Secondary/Sub-

Protection Units)
a. UC value shall be 280 VAC for L-N/L-PE, and Response time shall be <25 ns between L-N and <25 ns between N-PE.
b. Per phase, they shall be capable of discharging a minimum load of 20 kA/Phase and a maximum load of 40 kA in 8/20
µsn curve.
c. The protection level shall be < 1.3 kV.
d. They shall have a power varistor.
e. They shall feature a contact output, and indicators located on every socket changing their color at the end of life
cycle.

3. Three-Stage (Class D/Type 3/Class 3) Instantaneous Overvoltage Protection Surge Arresters (Device Protection Units)

(To be installed on plasma, monitors, recording devices etc. in the control and monitoring center and on surge arrester

panels on site)
a. Products shall have different combinations of 3-Phase+Neutral/1-Phase+Neutral.
b. Response time shall be < 25 ns between L-N and < 100 ns between N-PE.
c. They shall be capable of discharging a minimum load of 2.5 kA/Phase and a maximum load of 7 kA in 8/20 µsn curve.
d. The protection level shall be < 1.1 kV.
e. They shall have a power varistor, suppression diode or gas arrester or a combination of them.
f. Every socket should have indicators changing color at the end of life cycle.

4. Video Signal Protection Device
a. The video line protection devices designed for camera systems shall be provided as a combined or precise protection
device next to the camera and in the monitoring center, depending on the type of, and place of use of the product.
b. The combined protection devices shall consist of lightning and overvoltage discharge assemblies included in class D1
+ C2 + C3 in accordance with IEC 616343-21. They shall provide equipotentialization for lightning protection between PE/
screening and data lines. However, they shall reduce overvoltages to a protection level posing no threat.
c. Precise protection devices shall consist of overvoltage discharge assemblies included in class C2 + C3. Protection
devices shall be available for use with direct connection between data lines and capable of being integrated with
existing communication systems smoothly.
d. Technical properties of video signal line protection device for co-axial video systems:
—It shall be located in an aluminum casing.
—It shall feature a BNC connector.
—It shall be easy to install with an insert socket.
—It shall have a two-stage protection circuit.
—It shall be appropriate for the protection of video signals and available for use in camera or TV installations.
